The hip is one of the most stable joints in the body. But, its function, bearing the body's weight, makes it susceptible to arthritis due to excessive pressure. Pain in the hip may involve injury to muscles, tendons, or bursae (small fluid-filled sacs that cushion and lubricate joints). I offer my services for the treatment of hip pain and joint preservation by treating hip conditions with NSAIDS, Local injections with PRP/ Visco supplementation and in advanced arthritis of the hip with total hip replacement where disease portion of the hip articular surface are removed and replaced with artificial joints to make the patient pain free and mobile.
